Twenty-nine teams took to the fairways at Branston Golf & Country Club for the Automatic Door Suppliers Association’s (ADSA) annual charity golf day, helping to raise £9,000 for three main charities and a range of others.

The ADSA event, held on 24 September, brought together 163 golfers and networking guests during the day. This year, those not competing in the tournament got a chance to have fun on an adventure mini golf course or unwind in the club house. The gala dinner which followed saw 180 guests in attendance.

Farrells Fabrication Ltd (trading as Copper Jax), from Middlesborough, won the ADSA Cup and nominated The Shine Bright Charity which aids research into triple negative breast cancer to receive a donation. The team received the winners’ trophy and individual glass trophies.

dormakaba UK, from Hertfordshire, finished second, followed by Label UK Automatic Door Solutions Limited, from Bridgnorth, Shropshire, in third place.

Donations will also be given to Band of Builders, an industry related charity, Midlands Air Ambulance and Kids Village, Staffordshire – a charity chosen by the golf team that came in last place.
