Geberit has expanded its range of WCs featuring the innovative TurboFlush technology, giving retailers access to enhanced flush performance at every price point.
TurboFlush is now available across Geberit’s Aspire and Bathroom Collections, which means greater choice for all customer groups, irrespective of their budget or design preference.
With this expansion, the manufacturer is urging bathroom retailers to ‘focus on the WC system’ – highlighting that the most important decision in the bathroom is the one people don’t realise they’re making. This follows research from Geberit which shows 85% of people have felt frustrated that a toilet flush didn’t work properly.
Only half of people can remember being given information about flush performance when buying a toilet, even though 42% said it was more important than ‘look and style’, 39% said more important than colour and 42% said more important than price.
A spotlight on (Turbo)Flush
Geberit’s TurboFlush technology sets the standard by powering and directing water into the toilet interior – boosting performance, minimising cleaning requirements and reducing noise.
It uses an asymmetrical inner geometry to guide the flush water in a powerful vortex through the bowl, ensuring thorough and complete cleaning. As a result, it exceeds the flush performance required by international standards by up to ten times and minimises flushing noise.
The technology is now available on 20 designs at all price points across wall-hung and floor-standing designs, including the iCon, Acanto and Geberit ONE ranges (Aspire collection), plus Selnova and Smyle ranges (Geberit Bathroom Collection).

“Focus on the flush”
Sophie Weston Head of Marketing for Geberit said: “We know from our research that flush performance is important to homeowners, and remains a source of anxiety for some. Yet retailers often ignore the opportunity to promote this feature, focusing on aesthetics instead.
“With TurboFlush now available at all price points, we’re giving those retailers the opportunity to focus on the flush – providing innovative technology that boosts performance, reduces cleaning effort and delivers a whisper-quiet flush, across all price points.”
Mastering Water
Water has three basic functions: it is vital for nutrition, it is used for personal hygiene and cleaning, and it moves substances and materials as a means of transportation. These applications correspond to the flow of water within a building and include potable water supply, use and drainage.
Geberit is the only company that covers all three areas in the building. The products in front of and behind the wall are most effective when they are used together in perfect harmony as a system.
Geberit understands hydraulics: The company knows how to direct and control the flow of water in a building in a targeted manner and use its energy optimally. The water flow is optimised and channelled safely and efficiently through pipes and sanitary products, where it is used reliably and sparingly.
Thanks to technical know-how and functional design, Geberit makes the handling of water simple, safe and efficient – this is “Mastering Water”.
Water-saving solutions
Geberit has a long tradition of manufacturing water-saving products, particularly WC cisterns and their components. According to a model calculation, water consumption for toilet flushing has been reduced by around 80% from 70 to 14 litres per person per day since 1952 thanks to several innovations such as Geberit dual-flush and stop-and-go cisterns. Geberit is constantly developing the water efficiency of its WC systems.
Creating added value with ecodesign
Since 2007, all products have been consistently developed according to the eco-design principle: Every new product should be ecologically better than its predecessor – without compromising on quality, functionality or durability. All stages of the product life cycle are considered, from raw material extraction to disposal. Since its launch, more than 200 products have been developed or optimised according to this principle.
