A new tech hub has benefited from the installation of Brett Martin’s Marlon Clickfix RL rooflights, glazed with Marlon Clickfix 1040 polycarbonate.

Spanning 1.2 million square feet, Here East is a new, Stratford-based technological hub, developed to transform London’s creative and digital industries. The development, which was designed by Hawkins Brown, comprises three buildings: the former press and broadcast centres and a large auditorium.

To meet the brief, which prioritised the introduction of natural light, the main contractor was tasked with converting the windowless warehouses into naturally-lit environments.

Brett Martin’s Marlon Clickfix RL rooflights were specified as a solution. 34 units, glazed in clear Marlon Clickfix 1040 polycarbonate, were installed to brighten the cavernous space, which became home to numerous shops and offices.
