Newton Waterproofing is delighted that its Newton Cloud has been shortlisted for a triple award nomination across the National Building and Construction Awards and the Property Care Association Awards.

Both the NBCA and PCA awards recognise the outstanding achievements made across the industry, highlighting best practice, industry standards, and providing a platform to recognise and reward companies for their innovations.

The Property Care Association Awards

For the first of the triple award nominations, Newton has been shortlisted for the ‘Innovation’ award at The Property Care Association – 2026 Best Practice Awards.

As the UK’s leading trade association for structural waterproofing, damp control, timber preservation, and invasive weed management, the Property Care Association (PCA) recognises businesses that are driving the industry forward through technical expertise, professional standards, and innovation.

The National Building and Construction Awards

In addition to the PCA success, Newton has also been shortlisted in two categories at the National Building and Construction Awards

  • Construction Software Award
  • Innovation of the Year

The National Building and Construction Awards (NBCA) celebrate excellence across the UK construction industry, recognising businesses that demonstrate exceptional quality, customer service, technical expertise, and innovation.

Being shortlisted in two categories is a testament to the significant research, development and innovation that Newton has invested in as a business, to deliver a truly unique and ground breaking new system.

Newton Cloud

The Newton Cloud – Triple Award Nomination

The innovation being recognised in each of these award nominations is the Newton Cloud, the company’s ground breaking and innovative new cloud-based pump monitoring system.

The Newton Cloud platform provides real-time monitoring of your basement pumping systems, delivering alerts for critical events directly to your mobile device via the Newton Cloud App.

The integrated system combines our cloud-connected hardware with the Newton Cloud to provide both contractors and clients with complete oversight of their systems and early warning of any potential issues.

The capabilities of the Newton Cloud bring truly state-of-the-art intelligence to new and existing pump installations, including:

  • Frequency of pump operations and total volume pumped
  • Real-time alarm events and warning messages
  • Monitoring of water levels in drainage channels
  • Live health data on both the battery and inverter units – not available on any other monitoring system
  • Access to live and historical pump system data

Remote monitoring also enables easy access for service engineers, minimising costly site visits. The system even checks for upcoming weather events and monitors the overall system health in advance of approaching storms.

An Achievement to Be Proud Of

Newton is incredibly proud to receive recognition across both award programmes, and look forward to the award ceremonies. Winners of the PCA Awards will be announced on Thursday 12th November 2026 at Leicester Tigers’ Rugby Stadium.

The NBCA award ceremony will be held on Friday 9th October 2026 at the Leonardo Royal London Tower Bridge Hotel. Newton sends its congratulations to all other shortlisted finalists – and they look forward to celebrating with everybody!
