Wade Building Services Ltd has announced the acquisition of Westline, bringing together two established construction supply businesses with extensive experience across structural steelwork, lintels, site fencing and specialist construction products. 

The acquisition marks an important milestone in Wade’s continued growth and strengthens its position as a  supplier to housebuilders, contractors, developers, merchants and construction professionals across the UK. 

With Wade headquartered in Tipton and Westline operating from County Durham and Nottinghamshire, the combined business gains enhanced national coverage, improved logistics and increased capacity to support customers across England, Scotland and Wales. 

The enlarged business offers an expanded range of products and services including steel and concrete lintels, structural steel, temporary fencing, hoarding, barriers, site security systems, passive fire protection, equipment and site essentials. The acquisition also strengthens Wade’s technical support and customer service capability  across the construction sector. 

Westline was established in 1987 and has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability and technical expertise. Its experience in structural steelwork, builders’ steel, lintels, fixings, fasteners and specialist construction products adds further depth to Wade’s existing merchant, lintel and site materials offer.
