Freefoam Building Products has built its reputation not only on product quality and innovation, but on the strength, stability and experience of its sales team.
Across the UK, long-serving team members have helped create trusted relationships with independent stockists, builders’ merchants, housebuilders and specification customers, providing continuity in a market that has changed significantly over the last two decades.
That longevity is evident throughout the business. In January 2026, Freefoam celebrated major milestones for three senior sales leaders: Richard Jackson, Carl Rutter and Simon Parrott, who together represent 65 years of service with the company and more than 100 years of combined experience in the building plastics industry.

Sales team commitment
The same commitment runs through the wider sales team. George Langley joined Freefoam in 2012 and has worked across a variety of regions in the East, South and currently continues to support customers across the Midlands, building relationships with established independents and merchant accounts.
George explains: “Earning the trust to manage my time and accounts in the way that works best for each situation is one of the things I value most about working for Freefoam. It allows me to support customers properly and build long-term relationships.”
James Wood, who started in 2008, has seen his role evolve from Area Sales Manager to Northern New Build and Scotland Key Accounts Manager, reflecting both his experience and Freefoam’s growth.
James says: “I’ve seen Freefoam grow and improve tenfold over nearly two decades. The product range, quality and reach of the business have developed hugely, while the company has maintained a strong position in a changing marketplace.”
Simon Parkes, with the company since 2016, has moved from North East Area Sales Manager to Business Development Manager, helping customers identify opportunities, work with key merchant accounts and drive year-on-year growth.
Simon says: “Every day brings something different, and within my role you have to be adaptable to meet customer needs. There’s a great sense of achievement in seeing customers grow year on year through a clear partnership.”
For customers, this depth of experience makes a practical difference. Long-standing sales contacts understand regional markets, historic trading patterns and the challenges created by acquisition, consolidation and changing product demand. They are able to offer reliable advice, technical support and commercial insight grounded in years of hands-on industry knowledge.
Freefoam’s sales team longevity demonstrates a culture where people can develop, adapt and thrive. More importantly, it gives customers confidence: they are dealing with a manufacturer whose people know the market, understand their businesses and are committed to long-term partnership.
